Our winery name has a special meaning; it is a tribute to our furry companions who have been with us from the start – Juno, Allie, and Velvet (JunAVelli). As animal lovers, we understand the joy and inspiration our furry companions bring into our lives. Their presence in our winery has motivated us to create exceptional wines that leave a lasting impression on the senses. We have dedicated our wines to feature these treasured dogs on their labels so their legacy lives on. We hope this story serves as a reminder always to follow your heart and pay homage to what you hold dear. How It All Began
We opened in May 2018, but our winemaking began in 2004 when the winemaker, Roger, started making wine for fun. He tried a few things and eventually made Sweet Blueberry, which is still part of our selection now.
He started a hobby and liked it a lot. He got help from his family and started trying new things like blackberries, strawberries, and muscadine grapes in his garage.
Now, some of these recipes are part of our products already, and more will come out soon!
With the support of their friends and family, they were able to share their delicious wine with the world. This shows that by sharing our passions with others, we can create something truly amazing.
Lisa and Roger’s story reminds us to follow our dreams and never give up on our passions. It’s the small steps that we take towards our goals that can lead to something great. Their success is an inspiration to all of us to pursue what we love and share it with the world.
